What is Vibraderm?
Vibradermabrasion – Lighten…Brighten…and Tighten Skin with Vibraderm™
Used as an alternative to microdermabrasion, Vibraderm is one of the latest innovations and safest ways to improve the appearance of your skin. Effective, painless exfoliation with minimal recovery time and a complete and uniform removal of the outermost layer of the skin can now be performed with the Vibraderm system. This patented cosmetic device gently exfoliates the epidermis while stimulating collagen growth, as well as help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, and acne/scarring. Unlike conventional dermabrasion treatments, Vibraderm does not use the messy crystals. Many leading Physicians around the globe are using the Vibraderm treatments and produce remarkable results.
This is a painless procedure with absolutely no patient downtime. There is no suction involved, so there is no pain and no formation of unwanted and unsightly blood vessels. Commonly asked questions about Vibradermabrasion
Q. Does it hurt?
A. No at all. Vibraderm is soothing and comfortable while many patients describe it as feeling pleasant and relaxing.
Q. Who are the treatments performed by?
A. Vibradermabrasion is performed by our registered nurses. The visits last about 45 minutes to treat the full face. It starts with cleansing, followed by procedure, and finally a gentle after treatment emollient.
Q. How long does the treatment take?
A. The process takes upwards of only 30 minutes making it a perfect lunch hour treatment! Though some patients might have a temporary rosy color to their skin immediately after the treatment, it will only last up to an hour. To alleviate the temporary discoloration, you can apply skin care products, sunscreen, and makeup right after treatment.
Q. How many sessions will I need?
A. The recommended schedule is once a week for a series of 5 treatments.
Q. How long until I see results?
A. You’ll see and feel the difference after one treatment. The tone and texture of your skin will dramatically improve. After just three treatments, you can expect to see your skin to undergo dynamic changes. You won’t believe how soft, smooth and polished your skin will be. Additionally, you will find that your skin will be stimulated to grow more new cells and collagen, the latter which is the protein in your skin that makes it appear taut and smooth. Collagen production declines as we age, creating a looser, uneven skin. As a result, the treatment will lead to smoother, healthier-looking skin for lasting effects of improved skin appearance. It also reduces inflammation and redness of the skin, adult and hormonal acne and uneven pigmentation.
Q. Can Vibraderm be used on any other part of the body besides the face?
A. It certainly can. Vibraderm treatment is often used to smooth and brighten the skin of the neck, chest, back, arms, and legs. Additionally, it can even be used to smooth rough skin on heels, elbows, and knees.
